What the Course Covers

This course provides a broad introduction to programming. The course is intended for participants who have been using the system in some format (operators, administrators etc.) and may be interested in learning to program. The main goal of the course is to provide an overview of what programming is, the basic components of programming and the skills required.

How Can You Apply the Skills You Will Learn?

On completion of the course, participants will be aware of the requirements for writing programs on  i  (System i  , i5, iSeries and AS/400).

Who Should Attend

Anyone with a background on i who is interested in learning how to program.

Prerequisites

Attendees should have at least a knowledge of the system by attending An Introduction to or have comparitive experience
